Children Thrive With Us

At Country Garden Montessori we have a flow to our school days. Children thrive when they know what to expect and will lead each other as they learn and develop with Montessori teaching.

Circle Time

Gather, Share, and Grow Together!

In a Children’s House, circle time is a dynamic and adaptable gathering where children unite to share, learn, and engage in group activities.

Story time is usually at the beginning of the morning, during Circle Time. Children gather in a cozy space. The teacher shares engaging stories that ignite imagination and curiosity. Children listen attentively, eyes wide with wonder. They learn new words and concepts. After the story, discussions bloom when children express their thoughts and feelings. Story time fosters a love of reading, and builds community and connection. Montessori story time nurtures a joyful learning environment.

Montessori Circle Time is full of songs that teach. Our music time is an engaging, hands-on experience that encourages children to explore rhythm, melody, and movement. Children learn to appreciate music while developing their listening skills, creativity, and coordination in a supportive environment that fosters their natural love for sound and expression.

Montessori group time in Children's House is vibrant and interactive. Guided by a teacher, the group may explore topics through songs, discussions, or demonstrations, promoting a sense of belonging and encouraging each child's voice to be heard.

Work Time

During “Work Time,” children dive into hands-on activities that spark their curiosity and creativity. They choose from a variety of materials and projects, allowing them to learn at their own pace while developing independence and problem-solving skills. This is a time for exploration, where each child’s interests guide their learning journey!

Montessori lessons are designed to cultivate independence. Children have the freedom to choose activities that engage them, which help develop their decision-making skills. Hands-on materials encourage exploration and problem-solving, allowing children to work at their own pace. As they gain confidence and self-reliance, teachers guide them rather than direct their actions, encouraging them to learn from their own experiences. This process nurtures a strong sense of responsibility and independence in their educational journey.

The Montessori curriculum used for ages 3 – 6, is designed to promote independent thinking and problem-solving skills. Children engage in hands-on activities that encourage exploration and experimentation, allowing them to discover solutions on their own. Through carefully designed materials and real-life experiences, children learn to analyze challenges, make decisions, and develop critical thinking skills. This approach nurtures resilience and creativity, empowering them to confront problems with confidence.

In Montessori children's house, lessons are designed to enhance concentration. Children engage in hands-on activities that capture their interest and help develop concentration. The prepared environment minimizes distractions, allowing kids to immerse themselves in their work. By choosing tasks at their own pace, they learn to manage their time effectively, developing focus and concentration skills, which are essential for lifelong learning.
