“The most important period of life is not the age of university studies, but the first one, the period from birth to the age of six.”

The Montessori Curriculum encompasses five key elements to educating children: Practical Life, Sensorial, Cultural, Mathematics & Language.
We have a flow to our school days. Children thrive when they know what to expect and lead each other as they learn and develop with Montessori teaching.
Country Garden Montessori School philosophy & curriculum guide children to freely learn and acquire inner discipline from exposure to both physical and mental order. Kindergarteners & preschoolers developing habits of order, concentration, perseverance and thoroughness established in the early years will provide a confident and competent learner in later years.
At Montessori, we believe in the power of education to transform lives. Our approach nurtures the whole child, fostering a love for learning that lasts a lifetime. By encouraging creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration, we prepare children not just for school, but for a fulfilling life.
To empower each child to reach their full potential and become a confident, compassionate, and lifelong learner who contributes positively to the global community.
To inspire a nurturing, child-centered environment where each child’s natural curiosity and love of learning is cultivated, fostering independence, confidence, and respect for others and respect for the world around them.
Montessori Curriculum encompasses five key elements to educating children.
At Country Garden Montessori School, we foster an environment that promotes children’s independence, self-sufficiency, and passion for learning. Our enriched educational setting caters to the unique needs of each child. Inspired by Maria Montessori’s philosophy, we support the comprehensive development of every child—addressing social, intellectual, emotional, and physical growth, while nurturing the individual spirit. We invite you to visit us and discover the exceptional learning experiences we provide for your children.
Our dedicated preschool teachers create a nurturing environment where every child feels safe and valued. We focus on fostering curiosity and a love of learning in each child.
We believe in the power of play and exploration. Our curriculum is designed to engage young minds, encouraging growth through hands-on experiences. Together, we build a strong foundation for lifelong learning and confidence.
There are several types of learning styles commonly observed in children. Each child may have a dominant learning style or a combination of styles that work best for them. Here are the 3 main types:
These children learn best by seeing. They understand and retain information better if it’s presented in visual aids such as pictures, diagrams, charts, and written information to understand and retain concepts.
Auditory learners understand and retain information best by listening. They benefit from discussions, verbal instructions, music, or storytelling to grasp new ideas.
Kinesthetic or tactile learners understand best by doing. They prefer hands-on activities, physical movement, and exploration. In a Montessori setting, they thrive with hands-on materials that they can touch, manipulate, and experiment with.
Our day starts with Circle Time, where we come together as a group. Afterward, the children engage in a variety of lessons during the work period, followed by snack time. If time allows, we continue with a second work cycle. The morning ends with outdoor play on the playground, before dismissal.
Parents take turns providing snacks for the class throughout the school year, on a rotating basis.
Each year varies. But we normally have between 14 – 16 children each day.

potty trained and developmentally ready, he/she can enroll.
Montessori promotes self-discipline by encouraging children to make choices, experience natural consequences, and resolve conflicts in a peaceful way, with teacher guidance when needed.
Montessori focuses on child-centered learning. Children are allowed to explore at their own pace, with hands-on materials. Teachers act as guides in following the progress of the child. Montessori fosters independence, creativity, and critical thinking.
Montessori classrooms have mixed-age groups, allowing older children to mentor younger ones, fostering collaboration, empathy, and communication among peers. The age groups are toddler, children’s house (ages 3-6), lower elementary (ages 6-9), upper elementary (ages 9-12), and middle school.
Drop off is between 8:30 and 8:45 in the morning.
Montessori classrooms are designed to accommodate various learning styles. Each child is given individual attention based on their developmental needs. Teachers observe and follow the child so lessons can be adapted to meet the child’s needs.
